Hugging Face

The 🤗 Hugging Face emoji is a yellow, happy smiling face emoji with little blushing seen on the cheeks. It also contains hands in a position where they are ready to hug. As per the name, this emoji is used to send out hugs, affection, and warmth. It is identical to the 😊 Smiling Face with Smiling Eyes emoji with the only difference being the absence of hands in the latter. It can also be used to encourage, welcome, or accept someone. Owning to its hand gestures, the hands are often represented as jazz hands indicating feelings such as enthusiasm, excitement, or a sense of accomplishment or flourish.

🫂 People hugging is also an emoji with a hug gesture that shows two gender-neutral blue persons hugging.

In 2015, the 🤗 Hugging Face emoji was endorsed as a part of Unicode 8.0 and in the same year, it was introduced as a face hand emoji in Emoji Version 1.0 under Smileys & Emotion category.
